The 2018 vintage was truly one of the most passionate on record. Wild swings of heat in February, then rains and more rains with cloud cover, cloud cover and more cloud cover. We have learned though, at Ramiiisol “elegance” is achieved “through filtered light.” While many remember the vintage as one in which we could count the sunny days instead of the rainy days, we think of it as one of challenges and incredible learning opportunities to express the richness of our climate and terroir. The 2018 classico is a true ethereal representative of the unique Ramiiisol terroir. The wine was aged in Italian tradition for 4.5 years in large format botte prior to bottling, April 2023.
