The polished bronze Bonds of Friendship was created by our friend and sculptor John Robinson (1935-2007). John described Bonds of Friendship “as a visual expression of the belief that the future of civilization depends on friendship, cooperation and trust, and that trust is the basis of peace and civilization. It is made of two linked toruses – the simplest of what mathematicians call a link or tangle of loops made up of several strands. Symbolically, the two links are locked so tightly together they are inseparable and able to withstand all the pressures of life.” We believe John’s Bonds of Friendship creation expresses truths fitting for our wine club.
