905×215 mm (36×9 ins) left figure
810×170 mm (32×7 ins) second right
580×180 mm (23×7 ins) right
Section of an extensive panel of Tassel Bradshaws displaying a range of accoutrerments and associations. Some of the elaborate accoutrements including Dotted Line Cords draped from parts of the headdress and body, combined with long, elaborate tassel-tipped Half Tram Track Armpit Decorations. The left figure has a small associated marsupial atypically positioned below its headdress level. The third figure has a rare and questionable 255 mm (10 ins) miniature Multi Barb Spear positioned beside its left forearm. While examples of Multi Barbed Spears associated with early Erudite Epoch figures are extremely rare, the manner of depicting the artefact beside the forearm rather than held in the hand is correct for this Group. The profile right figure shows a most unusual and ungainly arm alignment, with a Double Cord Handle Dillbag suspended from its upraised hands. This Round Head Variation has a Mantilla headdress with multiple Long Tasselled Cords suspended from its lower head. Note the fringed base on the neck-mounted dillybag of the left figure, which also holds a small Fishing Rod type artefact.
