Our 2016 climate challenges were on full display. We opened the year with frost and transitioned to a particularly hot and humid summer, then progressed nicely toward an early September harvest that achieved well-balanced ripeness. After carefully selecting our best grapes as always and processing, our 2016 was then aged for four years in our Slovenian oak casks and now after a year in the bottle is ready for release.

We find our 2016 Cabernet Franc to be pleasurably refined and reminiscent of Burgundian elegance.
