Governor David Walters & Rhonda Walters
David Walters serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Walters Power International, LLC. Elected in 1990, Governor Walters served as the 24th Governor of Oklahoma. His professional experience has evolved from university and medical center administration, large scale commercial real estate development, and is now primarily focused on independent power project development. He is an engineering graduate of the University of Oklahoma and received an MBA from Harvard Business School. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Democratic National Committee and continues to be active in public policy.
Rhonda is President of Oklahoma Property Investors which owns and operates over 500,000 s.f. of office space. She has a life-long commitment to improving the quality of life for women, children and families in Oklahoma. From organizing the highly successful Healthy Futures Immunization Campaign when she was Oklahoma’s First Lady, to establishing in her son’s memory with the Shaun Walters Chair in Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics through Children’s Medical Research Foundation, Walters has been active in Oklahoma children’s advocacy, business and political affairs for more than 30 years. Rhonda received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy in 2020 and was inducted into the Oklahoma Women’s Hall of Fame in 2017.
